Music fans are in for a treat as Edwin McCain is set to headline the Jammin' at the AMP Pre-Pig Shindig Festival Kick-off Event on Thursday, October 24, at the Breeden Amphitheater in Lexington, NC. The event, sponsored by Lexington Utilities, promises an unforgettable evening of live music and community spirit.
Attendees are invited to enjoy free admission in exchange for donating five cans or boxes of food per person to support Pastor's Pantry and help combat senior hunger in our community. Plan to drop off the food donations at the Pastor's Pantry truck parked at the amphitheater entrance.
Known for his chart-topping hits like "I'll Be" and "I Could Not Ask for More," Edwin McCain will bring his signature soulful voice and acoustic sound to the stage, promising an unforgettable performance under the stars. The opening act of Chris Taylor & The Rumor is known for their high-energy shows featuring a dynamic blend of rock, country, and Southern soul. Their music will surely set the stage for a remarkable night of entertainment.
The event runs from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM and will feature a variety of food truck options and ice-cold Budweiser beverages available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to bring their friends, family, and lawn chairs for an evening of music and community celebration.
